Hopetoun House, South Queensferry, Nr. Edinburgh EH30 9SL

Hopetoun House, the home of the Marquesses of Linlithgow is one of the most splendid examples of Georgian architecture in Britain, being the work of Scottish architects Sir William Bruce and William Adam.  It is the most wonderful venue in which to hold our twice yearly miniature fair in the magnificent  tapestry and ballrooms.  Held since 1988 this fair attracts miniaturists from all parts of the UK and is considered to be one of the best in Scotland.  The range of houses available  is very varied, from castles and mansions, to cottages and crofts, and many other buildings.  There is also a fabulous range of accessories, dolls, wallpapers, porcelain figures, glassware and a large variety of inexpensive lighting. Furniture ranges from retro, to art deco, Macintosh, and tudor.
